چکیده
Nanomaterials can assist targeted bacterial depletion in either a passive or active way to enhance inhibitory activity and reduce side effects by increasing local concentration of antibacterial agents. In this review article, we summarize the recent development field, which will promote more innovative thinking particularly focusing on treatment multidrug resistant bacteria.

Recent Advances in Hemophilia Gene Therapy
Heterogeneous loss of function mutations at F8 and F9 genes causes X-linked recessive bleeding disorders, hemophilia A (HA) and hemophilia B (HB), respectively. HA is clinically indistinguishable from HB and accounts for more than 80% of hemophilia cases; the former affects 1/5000 and the latter 1/25000 male births worldwide. In Iran, it is estimated that around 4300 HA and 900 HB patients are ...
متن کاملNanomaterials for alternative antibacterial therapy
Despite an array of cogent antibiotics, bacterial infections, notably those produced by nosocomial pathogens, still remain a leading factor of morbidity and mortality around the globe. They target the severely ill, hospitalized and immunocompromised patients with incapacitated immune system, who are prone to infections. The choice of antimicrobial therapy is largely empirical and not devoid of ...
متن کاملLiver-targeted hydrodynamic gene therapy: Recent advances in the technique
One of the major research focuses in the field of gene therapy is the development of clinically applicable, safe, and effective gene-delivery methods. Since the first case of human gene therapy was performed in 1990, a number of gene-delivery methods have been developed, evaluated for efficacy and safety, and modified for human application. To date, viral-vector-mediated deliveries have shown e...
متن کاملRecent advances in targeted therapy for Ewing sarcoma
Ewing sarcoma is an aggressive, poorly differentiated neoplasm of solid bone that disproportionally afflicts the young. Despite intensive multi-modal therapy and valiant efforts, 70% of patients with relapsed and metastatic Ewing sarcoma will succumb to their disease. The persistent failure to improve overall survival for this subset of patients highlights the urgent need for rapid translation ...
